Our Mattress Guide will provide our customers with a lot of information that can answer a large portion of frequently asked questions about mattresses.  You can learn the basic differences between the mattress sizes and firmness levels.  You will be able to learn about other aspects of mattresses, such as what makes a mattress a “green” mattress or what the difference is between a memory foam mattress and a mattress with a memory foam component.  Aside from the mattresses themselves, we will have sections for our customers’ general benefit, such as information on how to sleep better.  Finally, we will show how Saatva provides the best mattress value on the market.

It should be noted that our Mattress Guide is only in its initial phase.  We plan on adding a lot more information over time as we determine what is the most relevant and important information to provide our customers.  It is our sincerest hope that this guide can demystify a lot of the confusion surrounding buying a mattress.  We want our customers to be 100% confident that they have made the best decision for them.

Saatva takes its green initiative very seriously.  We really feel that it is our responsibility to have as low of a carbon footprint as possible.  With that being said, Saatva has put a number of measures into its mattress to keep a very low environmental impact.  First, the outer covering of the mattress is made from organic cotton.  The inner springs within the mattress are made from recycled steel.  Also, the memory foam layer on the mattress is made from safe, bio-based foam.  These components combine for a very eco-friendly, organic mattress.

Saatva also kept allergies in mind when designing our mattress.  No customer has ever told us of an allergic reaction to our mattress because we designed our product with this specific issue in mind.  The foam portion of our mattress is never processed with any sort of irritating solution and the outer covering of our mattress is made out of gentle, non-irritating organic cotton.  Because Saatva mattresses are made shortly before delivery, they are never held in a warehouse, where germs and mold can grow, for prolonged periods of time.  The mattress is also packaged in such a manner that allows it to breathe without letting outside particles in.  This means that your mattress will come to you bed-bug free.

By not having a physical retail store, Saatva’s carbon footprint is much less than that of our competitors.  We aren’t using any energy to power a physical store, so we really do keep our impact to a minimum.  Not having a physical store not only allows us to sell an amazing luxury mattress at a very affordable price, but it also allows us to keep our promise of maintaining our green initiative.

Luxury blog, JustLuxe, has recently reviewed Saatva’s mattresses.  JustLuxe is a highly respected luxury web publication that provides analysis and information to its users on a range of luxury goods and services.  Recognizing the needs of its customers to have a high quality luxury mattress, JustLuxe agreed to test out and review Saatva’s luxury mattresses.
